Flying Shuttle Anyone?

-1768
Wow new inventions are springing into action already! Textile production must be important now.
Inventions such as the flying shuttle makes it easier. John Kay invented the flying shuttle to make weaving on a loom even faster. This was possible because the shuttle which was carrying the weft moved through the warp threads faster and over a longer width of cloth. The weft is the thread that goes up and under the parallel warp threads, producing fabric.

Here is a picture for all you fans of this blog.
